With five matches remaining for all but one Westfield W-League team, the title remains far from locked away while top four spots are still up for grabs.

1. Brisbane Roar
Currently two points clear at the top, Brisbane's title credentials will receive their biggest test yet when they head to second-placed Perth Glory next Friday.
Back-to-back clashes with the two Melbourne clubs follow, before they round out the regular season with a trip Adelaide and a home match against Canberra.

2. Perth Glory
Perth face four of the top six teams in a tough race to the finish line.
However, their early-season travels mean they play four of the final five matches at home in a boost to their title bid.

3. Newcastle Jets
Having not reached the Finals Series since the competition's inaugural season, Newcastle will hope to accrue enough points over their three remaining away fixtures to hold onto a top four spot.
Home matches against Adelaide and Melbourne City might need to be maximised.

4. Sydney FC
Sydney are on the charge following a run of four successive victories and will expect to continue their good form in Adelaide next Friday.
That's followed by a visit from the Jets, before meetings with Perth, Melbourne Victory and a season-closing Sydney Derby.

5. Melbourne City
Melbourne City's chances of claiming the premiership will be decided over the next three rounds as they head to Western Sydney, host Perth Glory and take on a Melbourne Derby.
A home showdown with Roar on 21 January is set to be a cracker, with a road clash against Newcastle their final engagement.

6. Canberra United
Canberra's hope of retaining the Premiers' Plate appear to have been deflated by three straight defeats.
They'll hope to rediscover form in back-to-back home matches against Adelaide and the Wanderers, while trips to Perth and Brisbane fall either side of a visit from Newcastle.

7. Melbourne Victory
Five points off fourth, Victory still have enough control over their destiny with a further six matches to come.
They begin with tests against Newcastle and Brisbane, which lead into an exciting final four fixtures.
The Melbourne Derby on 14 January is followed by clashes with both Sydney clubs, before a final-round visit to rivals Adelaide.

8. Western Sydney Wanderers
Western Sydney notched an impressive away victory in Adelaide last time out but further away dates with Canberra, Sydney FC and Perth could prove tricky.
They host City prior to those matches and also welcome Victory in January.

9. Adelaide United
The Reds will be aiming to add to their solitary victory when Sydney FC come to town in Round 9, while a trip to out-of-form Canberra the following weekend also presents an opportunity.
They then go north to Newcastle, before returning home to host Roar and Victory.
