Teenage forward Jacynta Galabadaarachchi has completed a ‘dream’ move to English Women’s Super League side West Ham United.
The 18-year-old made two starts and two substitute appearances for Perth Glory in the Westfield W-League 2018/19 Season as Sam Kerr's side reached the Grand Final.

Galabadaarachchi was also part of Melbourne City’s championship winning team in 2016/17, playing five times, before spending a season training in England with the likes of Everton, Manchester City and Arsenal.
The Australia under-17 and under-20 international, who joined up with the Westfield Matildas ahead of the 2017 Algarve Cup, will wear the number 15 jersey for the Hammers and she cannot wait to get started in a new country.
“I have wanted to play in England since I was eight-years-old and, in joining West Ham United, my dream has finally come true,” Galabadaarachchi told the club's official channels.
“I really like the way West Ham look to play football and the values the Club holds.
“Making this move is a dream for me, a dream that’s become a reality.”
West Ham head coach Matt Beard is excited to have on board for the 2019/20 season, which starts in September.
“She has got enormous potential, at 18-years-old, and I’m very excited by what she offers,” Beard said.
“Moving to England from Australia at 18 is a big step for her and we want to help her settle in well, and I’m confident she will have a fantastic first season with us.”
