The Westfield W-League 2020 Semi Final hosts have been determined but the final four is still far from settled.
After 14 rounds of the Westfield W-League 2019/20 the last round created a very exciting finish with many combinations and permutations for the second, third and fourth places possible before the round kicked off.
Following Melbourne Victory’s solid 3-1 win over Sydney FC this evening, they joined Melbourne City FC in securing hosting rights for the Westfield W-League 2020 Semi Finals and the match schedule for the Westfield W-League 2020 Finals Series is now confirmed, however, the Western Sydney Wanderers FC and Brisbane Roar FC are still in the race for a finals spot.
With Melbourne City FC having claimed the Westfield W-League 2020 Premiership in Round 13, they will now host the fourth (4th) placed team at ABD Stadium on Sunday 15 March (Kick-Off 1:30pm (AEDT).
Having secured second place in the final round of the Westfield W-League 2019/20 Season, Melbourne Victory will face the third (3rd) placed team at Epping Stadium on Saturday 14 March (Kick-Off 2:00pm AEDT).
The highest placed winner from week 1 of the Westfield W-League 2020 Finals Series will then have the opportunity to host the Westfield W-League 2020 Grand Final the following weekend (21 or 22 March)
The Westfield W-League 2020 Finals Series will be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS, ABC TV, Kayo and the My Football Live App.
