Foxtel has teamed up with international football star Tim Cahill to develop an academy which provides young players with the inspiration to be their best and follow their football ambitions.
The inaugural Academy held in Sydney last June was a huge success and now the team is heading to Newcastle and Townsville to give boys and girls from the region the opportunity to attend.
48 budding football stars between the ages of 6 and 11 will be chosen to participate in each two-day Academy. Each winner will get to bring a friend to take part in the incredible weekend.
Due to international commitments Tim Cahill will not be present however participants and their families will get to meet special guest Mark Bosnich. Robbie Anderson from the Everton FC Academy and a team of Tim Cahill-s hand-picked coaches will lead participants over the two days.
Dates and Locations
Newcastle Academy: Monday 30th September and Tuesday 1st of October at Hunter Stadium, Newcastle
Townsville Academy: Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October at 1300Smiles Stadium, Townsville
The Foxtel All-Stars Tim Cahill Academy is part of Foxtel-s initiative to nurture sport at the grassroots level and inspire the next generation of Australian footballers.
