Of the five Hyundai A-League matches played by Adelaide United this season, none have been won by the home team.
Inspired by Craig Goodwin, United have performed superbly on their travels, winning both of their away matches and scoring six goals in the process.
But two draws and one defeat at home has proved frustrating for Marco Kurz, who will be out to end that run when the Reds host Brisbane Roar on Friday evening.
Helping his cause might be the Roar’s poor defensive records on their travels, too.
Brisbane have conceded two or more goals in each of their last six away fixtures.

Encouraging signs for the Sky Blues
Sydney FC’s trip to Gosford on Saturday evening should end in at least a draw if recent history is anything to go by.
The Sky Blues have lost just one of their last 12 against the Mariners, winning nine.
And Sydney’s away record is outstanding, having dropped just one of their last 13 on their travels.
Central Coast boss Mike Mulvey does have a good record against Sydney FC, though, earning 1.7 points per game against the Sky Blues.
Only against Wellington Phoenix (2.5 points per game) and Adelaide United (1.9) does Mulvey average more.

Victory’s Docklands hoodoo
Melbourne Victory might be reigning Champions and second on the table but they currently hold an unwanted record.
The club’s six-match winless streak at Marvel Stadium (two draws, four defeats) is their longest ever win drought at the venue that, traditionally, has brought them joy.
Boosting hopes among Victory fans that that streak might be about to end is the club’s strong recent form against Western Sydney.
Victory are undefeated in their last eight against the Wanderers, winning five and drawing three.

Can Phoenix escape their rut?
After a bright start to the 2018/19 campaign, Wellington Phoenix have lost three matches in a row.
The last time they lost more matches in succession brings back horrible memories for Phoenix fans.
The club dropped eight matches on the trot from March to October 2016 in a terrible run of form.
And although they are at home, they face a Perth Glory side who have scored first in all five of their matches this season and sit on top of the Hyundai A-League table.
The clash will also be Andy Keogh’s 100th in Perth colours.

Friday evening kick-offs may not agree with Melbourne City so much but they certainly enjoy playing on a Sunday.
City are unbeaten in their last six such fixtures, winning four and drawing two.
Their last three Sunday outings have been particularly profitable, City winning them by a combined score of 10-1.
