REPORT: Goodwin's brilliant brace fires Adelaide United to breathless win

Craig Goodwin scored a stunning brace to avenge last year's extra-time final heartbreak suffered at the hands of the Sky Blues, sending the home faithful into pandemonium.

“Having played in a lot of different games here at Coopers Stadium it was one of the most special ones,” Isaias told the club's official website.

“And I’m really thankful with all the supporters, they were fantastic.”

Isaias also paid tribute to Goodwin's match-winning contribution, which is being hailed as one of the greatest FFA Cup Final performances to date

“He scored two crackers, two amazing goals and I’m very happy for him,” Isaias added.

“I know he’s a good player, he’s a very good person also inside the changing room and I’m very happy with him and very happy with the whole team.”
