The Hyundai A-League 2018-19 Season official match ball has been revealed.
The ball will be used for the first time when the new season gets underway on October 19 when Adelaide United hosts Sydney FC.

Named the ‘Nike Merlin’ football, the new advanced design features just four panels, reduced from the traditional 12-panel construction.
That feature is designed to create a larger striking surface across the ball, by also reducing the number of seams by 40%, eliminating hard spots and creating a more pronounced sweet spot.
Nike has integrated All Conditions Control (ACC) into a football to provide optimal touch and control in all weather and pitch conditions.
As well as being used in the Hyundai A-League, the Nike Merlin is also the official ball of the English Premier League, La Liga and Serie A.
