New A-League kits for 2020/21 Season: every club's released jerseys so far

One of the best parts about the countdown to the new A-League season is always the unveiling of each club’s new playing strips.

And a host of clubs have already shown off their new threads for the 2020/21, including competition newcomers Macarthur FC.

From some vibrant new takes on traditional styles to new stylish away jerseys, there’s been plenty of buzz around the kits for every club.

Check out the clubs which have unveiled their new jerseys so far and we’ll keep you updated with the playing strips for all 12 clubs as soon as they are released.

Adelaide United

The Reds’ new home jersey remains predominantly red but also has a bold, darker shade of red that features an embossed pattern.

There’s a deep blue colour across the upper body and shoulders, while the bottom-seam of the jersey includes an inscription of “More Than Football”, a mantra of the club.

Adelaide’s away strip is predominantly yellow and developed in collaboration with the club’s Global Technical Partner, UCAN.

Yellow was first used as a training top during the Reds’ maiden campaign in the 2003/04 National Soccer League, and was later used as the home shirt for the Club’s youth team in the 2015 National Premier League State League, as well as during the iconic friendly clash against Liverpool at Adelaide Oval.

Brisbane Roar

Roar’s Umbro kit remains the iconic Brisbane orange and mimics the design from the club’s memorable 2010/11 double-winning campaign.

A black shade is prominent from the collar along the shoulders, as it was in maroon 10 years ago, as well as black cuffed sleeves.

There is also a predominantly white away strip for the first time since the 2016/17 season – once again, as seen in our history-making 2010/11 campaign.

As a representative for all Queenslanders the Coast to the Cape, the State of Queensland once again features on the back of the neck.

Macarthur FC

The A-League newcomers inaugural strip was designed in Italy with consultation from club apparel partner Macron.

The predominantly white home shirt features a touch of black and ochre around the collar and sleeves.

An embossed bull head features on the front lower third of the jersey. While it also features a synthetic rubber patch that Macron have designed and moulded into the club crest and signature colours black, white, and ochre, that will be emblazoned atop of each jersey.

The back-neck of the shirt features the club’s emblem surrounded by black and white bars, further paying homage to the colours synonymous with sport in the area.

Melbourne City

City unveiled three kits for the new campaign, designed by apparel partner PUMA

The Home jersey features the iconic City blue palette with a new button collar design which will be worn with City blue socks and shorts.  

A crew neck fit, THE Away jersey features a primarily black and crimson red pattern that is paired with black shorts and socks.  

The club’s third jersey incorporates the red and white of the club’s history with a modern twist. The slick new pin stripe design is matched with white shorts and socks.  

All three strips feature a woven official Melbourne City crest on the left chest with sublimated PUMA Cat central on the chest as well as at the top of both the left and right sleeves.

2020/21 kit

Melbourne Victory

Victory have maintained a nod to the club’s earlier jerseys, with a larger and bolder white V taking pride of place across the chest.

The navy-blue body of the jersey also pays homage to another of Victoria’s passions, art. The front and back panel contains a hand painted artistic graphic which connects football and art.

In collaboration with the club’s apparel partner, adidas, the new away jersey features Melbourne’s city grid carefully watermarked throughout the crisp white body of the jersey.

The famous white V also takes pride of place on the front the away jersey.

Newcastle Jets

Blue is once again is the predominant colour on a slick new home kit for the Jets, as it has been since the 2011/12 Season.

There’s also a gold pinstripe adorning the front of the kit.

The away jersey is a gold kit with navy pinstripes, the first time since the 2017/18 Season that a Newcastle kit has been predominantly gold, with navy shorts to match.

HOME AND AWAY KITS

Western Sydney Wanderers

The Wanderers debuted their home and away jerseys for the new season, launched with iconic Italian sportwear brand Kappa.

Both the home and away jerseys will feature a collar design for the first time in the club’s history and are made out of Kappa’s Kombat Pro System technology used by club’s such as AS Monaco, Napoli and Fiorentina.

The new home jersey features the Wanderers signature Red and Black hoops, a white collar as well as the Kappa Omni on the chest and sleeves of the jersey.

Subtle additions including the inscription “We Are The Red & Black” on the internal neckline and the club’s monogram on the back of the jersey.

The away jersey marks the return of the Wanderers white away strip featuring a Red and Black hoop on the sleeves and button-collar.
