Melbourne Victory v Brisbane Roar: match preview

Both Melbourne Victory and Brisbane Roar will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they meet in an intriguing clash on Wednesday night.

Victory went down 2-1 to Western United FC on Saturday night in their first outing since the Hyundai A-League resumption, while Roar lost 1-0 to Adelaide United on their return to action.

So it's sure to mean there will be two fired-up sides at Bankwest Stadium as respective coaches Grant Brebner (Victory) and Warren Moon (Roar) chase their first wins as head coach.

While Roar head into this one in fourth spot and looking good to feature in this season's Finals Series, Victory are back in 10th spot and will want to finish the campaign with a flourish to build some momentum for 2020/21.

Something special always seems to happen when these two sides clash and this one should be another thriller.
