A first-ever win in front of their home fans will be high on the priority list for Macarthur FC when they take on Adelaide United on Friday night.
The Bulls have done a superb job early in their maiden A-League campaign, sitting in fourth spot heading into Matchweek 8.
But Ante Milicic’s squad have enjoyed most of their success on the road, meaning they’ll be looking to break their Campbelltown Stadium duck against the Reds.
After a strong start to the season, Adelaide have hit a mini form slump, losing their last two games on the bounce to drop out of the top six.
In fact, the Reds haven’t won any of their last five matches outside South Australia, conceding eight goals in their last two games away from their home state.
This is the first-ever meeting between the two clubs, whose coaches (Milicic and Carl Veart) were both involved in their inaugural A-League match back in Round 1, 2005.
