The Keisuke Honda interview that has the football world talking
Most footballers would be delighted with a 4-0 win, however it comes, but Keisuke Honda is not like most footballers.
The Japanese import - famous for his relentless desire to improve himself - gave a telling insight into his mindset when interviewed pitchside following Melbourne Victory’s trouncing of Western Sydney Wanderers on Saturday evening.
Honda was magnificent in the contest, scoring another goal and proving a constant threat with yet another outstanding display.

But Honda was "not satisfied", telling reporter Michael Zappone on the Fox Sports/10 Boss coverage that Victory “have to change”.
“I am not satisfied yet,” Honda said when asked about the performance.
“I think we can get better. Of course, today I scored and the team scored four goals but we also made a lot of mistakes.
“Today, I don’t think we played better. They didn’t play well.
“So we have to change our mind for next game against Adelaide otherwise it’s going to be a tough game next week.”
Quizzed about a particular passage of play where he was demanding the ball in the 92nd minute, Honda said Victory must always be looking to score - even if they are four goals up in stoppage time.
“That, we have to change,” he said.
“That, I want to change about the team. We shouldn’t be satisfied even [when] we are 4-0 [up].
“Because it doesn’t matter to me about [the] result. It’s important how we can make people happy here.
“I think football is entertainment and that the fans, supporters, want to be happy all 90 minutes, even, like, extra minutes.
“Even [if] we are 4-0 [ahead], we have to score. We have to [be] aggressive.
"That - I want to do that.”
Honda added that he was enjoying life in Melbourne and that it was “so comfortable”, something that was “important for me and for my family”.
