In tragic news, former Brisbane Roar, Perth Glory and Melbourne City midfielder Liam Miller has passed away at the age of just 36.
The Republic of Ireland international lost his battle with pancreatic cancer today.
Miller started his career at Scottish giants Celtic and played for a number of clubs during his career including Manchester United, Leeds, Sunderland, QPR and Hibernian.
But fans of the Hyundai A-League will remember him for the three seasons he played Down Under.
He arrived at Glory at the start of the 2011/12 Season, helping the club reach the Grand Final that season, going down 2-1 against Brisbane Roar.
After one more year in Perth, the gifted playmaker moved to the Roar and won the Championship-Premiership double in his one and only season at the club.
Miller was a key player for Roar under Mike Mulvey, playing in the comeback 2-1 Grand Final win over Western Sydney Wanderers in extra-time.
In 24 appearances for Roar, Miller scored three goals and struck up a great partnership with the likes of Thomas Broich and Besart Berisha.
After a short stint with Melbourne City the following season, Miller returned to Ireland to play with Cork City.
