Eric Worthington

Eric Worthington emigrated to Australia in 1973 after a long career in England during which he played 14 years as a professional with Queens Park Rangers and Watford. He was at Loughborough College for 12 years as a lecturer and was an English FA staff coach during 20 years teaching and coaching soccer. Following his appointment as national director of coaching for Soccer Australia, Worthington was responsible for a highly successful teaching program that produced coaches in every state. He has also had input into the Australian Institute of Sport.
