Born in Scotland in 1959, Eddie Lennie officiated in 165 Scottish senior games before coming to Australia in 1991. Following his arrival, he controlled 195 NSL matches including four grand finals. Other career highlights include refereeing three matches at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and officiating at the 1998 World Cup in France. Since retiring in 2004, Lennie has been a FIFA referee’s instructor for Oceania and held numerous positions in Western Australia.
