Can Fowler make the perfect start in front of the home fans and end their Victory hoodoo?

A place that struck fear into visiting teams in years gone by, Suncorp Stadium hasn’t had the same intimidatory feel in recent seasons, especially for Melbourne Victory.

If Roar are to have success in 2019/20, home form will be key and what better way to draw a line in the sand than to win the first game in front of the orange faithful.

The Irish striker’s goals fired the Jets to the 2018 Grand Final and there was a belief he would stay with the club but, a deal could not be struck, and now O’Donovan is wearing orange.
