Versatile attacker Larissa Crummer is happy to play the part of utility as she carves out a valuable role for the Westfield Matildas.
A natural centre-forward, the former Westfield W-League golden boot winner started at right-back in the recent friendly win over Thailand and has regularly featured on the flanks of Alen Stajcic's preferred 4-3-3 formation.
The 22-year-old's versatility could prove extra important with an injury cloud hanging over several members of the AFC Women's Asian Cup squad.
"Staj obviously believes I can do well in all those positions," Crummer told matildas.footballaustralia.com.au.
"I've been adapting quite hard, but I do enjoy it and I enjoy playing.
"I've played full-back before under Staj and I think he's seeing how I can play there.
"If the team needs a full-back or a winger or a number nine, I'm happy to go and do the job."
Crummer will experience her second international tournament at the Asian Cup in Jordan having been a member of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup squad.
The Melbourne City player is pleased to have another chance to rub shoulders with the likes of Sam Kerr and Lisa De Vanna.
"It's unbelievable. They're such quality players," she said.
"Sam and Lisa as strikers, I have a lot I can learn off them.
"It's awesome being in this environment where I can do that."
