Melina Ayres - Melbourne Victory

An early contender for goal of the season when it was struck back in Round 2, this sensational effort from way out made all the difference in Victory's 2-1 win over Newcastle Jets.

Maria Jose Rojas - Canberra United

A fantastic goal from the Chile international, Rojas' thunderbolt, unleashed on the fly, was not necessarily even the most memorable part of the match.

Perth would go on to score three goals in the final 10 minutes to rescue a 4-4 draw in scarcely believable fashion, but it's worth savouring this sublime strike too.

Sofia Huerta - Sydney FC

Pipping Chloe Logarzo's second-half belter, we present to you the goal of the Westfield W-League 2019 Grand Final.

Huerta's rocket was technically brilliant and set the standard for an outstanding decider packed with great goals.

Libby Copus-Brown - Newcastle Jets

A wonder-strike of the most wonderful calibre, Copus-Brown's lofted drive could not have been hit any better than it was.

Although the match finished 3-1, the 21-year-old was able to take solace in having netted one of the greatest debut goals in Westfield W-League history.

Georgia Yeoman-Dale - Western Sydney Wanderers

Catching out Westfield Matildas shot-stopper Lydia Williams from distance is no easy feat, but Western Sydney midfielder Yeoman-Dale is no ordinary player.

Her first-time curling finish would not be quite enough to guide the Wanderers to their first win of the campaign, but it is well worth watching a dozen times over!

Caitlin Foord - Sydney FC

The Westfield Matildas forward is something to watch in full flight, like she was when the Sky Blues put their derby rivals to the sword in Round 11.

Here's Caitlin Foord doing Caitlin Foord things.

Yuki Nagasato - Brisbane Roar

Trailing by two goals with hopes of reaching the Westfield W-League Grand Final fading fast, it helps to have a FIFA Women's World Cup winner leading the line.

Though it failed to save Brisbane from bowing out, Nagasato's thumping finish will be remembered for years to come.
