Martin Boyle entered double digits in the goals department in the Scottish Premiership as Trent Sainsbury led his Kortrijk to victory against Anderlecht.
Both Boyle and Jackson Irvine put in full shifts for Hibernian as they overcame Hamilton Academical 2-0 in the Scottish Premiership.
Boyle weighed in with his 10th goal of the season when he opened the scoring on 13 minutes before he had his penalty saved just after the half hour mark.
The invaluable three points sees Hibs stay in third with a four point gap over nearest challengers, Aberdeen.
In Belgium, Sainsbury put in a superb as captain for Kortrijk as he got on the scoresheet and picked up a clean sheet in their 2-0 triumph against Anderlecht.
A perfectly-struck corner on the stroke of halftime picked out the Socceroos defender as he headed home from close range to give his side the advantage at half time.
Sainsbury’s side continued to dominate the affair and were eventually rewarded with the all-important second goal with 15 minutes remaining in the contest.
Meanwhile, Danny Vukovic was on the bench for Genk as they suffered another shock defeat, going down 2-1 to Beerschot on this occasion.
