Adelaide United v Western Sydney Wanderers match preview

Approaching the business end of the Westfield W-League season, a win in Adelaide will keep the Premiers Plate in Western Sydney Wanderers' sights.

The Red and Black are looking to turn a historic 2019/20 campaign into a glittering one but the Melbourne City juggernaut continues to roll on with Wanderers trailing the leaders by six points.

With three-time champions City on a bye week and Western Sydney playing their game in hand, three points for Dean Heffernan's side would reduce that deficit with three matches to play.

The bottom of the table Reds have performed better than their points tally suggests in 2019/20 and will be striving for an upset victory to put a silver lining on their campaign.
