$15m in corporate support sets solid foundations for Macarthur FC

With almost a full twelve months before Macarthur FC kick a ball as the newest members of the Hyundai A-League, the club today announced they have already secured a remarkable $15 million in partnership income over the next three years.

Leading local home builder Wisdom Homes will be Macarthur FC’s principal front-of-shirt partner, with their subsidiary Hoot Homes’ logo appearing on the team’s shorts.

Campbelltown City Council are the club’s principal community partner, with local shopping giant Macarthur Square teaming up with the club as partners for the schools and wellbeing programs.

Western Sydney University’s community partnership will be focused on the newly launched Charles Perkins Soccer Academy, which will deliver fresh opportunities for Indigenous players throughout the country.

Other sponsors announced on the day were Stanno Australia as the club’s official apparel and merchandise supplier, Australian tech innovators Solos as shorts sponsor and official smart technology partner, and Australia’s new home for real estate, homes.com.au.

Wisdom Homes Managing Director, Domenic Vitalone, said the club was a natural fit for his company who have their roots firmly planted in the region.

“We’re a local business; we were founded in the Camden area, we operate here and build many of our houses in the area. We see this partnership with Macarthur FC as a great way of giving something back to the community that has been so supportive of us,” he said.

“Being a south-west resident, I feel a sense of local pride that we haven’t previously been able to express in a sporting context. To finally have a team to call our own is very exciting.”
Macarthur Square Centre Manager, Trevor Hill, echoed Mr Vitalone’s sentiments.

“Macarthur Square is proud to be partnering with Macarthur FC – a team of our very own, playing right in the heart of our community.

"We see sponsoring the club’s schools’ program as an opportunity to give back to the people of the Macarthur-Campbelltown region, which has been our home for over 40 years."

Executive Chairman of Macarthur FC, Rabieh Krayem, said the support of local businesses, as well as the broader corporate community, demonstrated the enthusiasm, excitement and spirit felt in the region.

“To have reached this partnership milestone before we have kicked a ball shows what great support there is for a football club this region can call their own,” Krayem said.

“We thank each and every one of our partners for their commitment and enthusiasm. Their input has been tremendous and we’re looking forward to fruitful relationships that deliver great outcomes for the community.”
