Your Hyundai A-League club’s award winners

Following another memorable Hyundai A-League 2017/18 campaign, it's been award season among the 10 clubs in recent weeks.

Here’s a summary of the winners at each club’s end-of-season awards functions.

ADELAIDE UNITED

Isaías claimed the Aurelio Vidmar Club Champion Award for the third time.

It was the second consecutive season the Spaniard has taken the top gong and he has now won the prestigious accolade a club-record three times since becoming a Red in 2013.

BRISBANE ROAR

Goalkeeper Jamie Young took home the highest honour, winning the Gary Wilkins Medal as Player of the Season for the first time.

Young, who picked up the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Goalkeeper of the Year award, was also named Player's Player of the Year.

CENTRAL COAST MARINERS

Ben Kennedy earned top honours after being voted by his peers as the best Central Coast Mariners’ player during the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season.

The 31-year-old shot stopper made 23 Hyundai A-League appearances which was enough to automatically trigger a second season with the Mariners.

Danny De Silva was the other big winner of the night, picking up three awards in his first season with the club.

MELBOURNE CITY

Outstanding Dutch defender Bart Schenkeveld was rewarded for an impressive debut campaign with the night's top honour.

Young star Daniel Arzani won the hearts of the fans, picking up Supporters Player of the Year.

MELBOURNE VICTORY

Leroy George capped an amazing debut season by winning Victory's top award.

The Dutchman led the Hyundai A-League with 14 assists, while he also netted nine goals and played a leading role in Victory's run to the Championship.

George also received recognition from his peers, taking out the Player's Player of the Season award.

NEWCASTLE JETS

New Caltex Socceroo Dimi Petratos was the man of the moment, making a clean sweep of the Hyundai A-League gongs.

Petratos and Andrew Nabbout shared the Golden Boot with 10 goals each, the first time the club has ever had two goal scorers in double-figures at the end of a regular season.

PERTH GLORY

Defender Shane Lowry was named Most Glorious Player 2017/18 at the club's end-of-season awards.

On a memorable night for the 28-year-old, he also took out the Players' Player of the Year and Best Clubman awards.

SYDNEY FC

Brazilian marquee Bobo took out the top gong at Sydney FC’s Sky Blue Ball for his prolific Hyundai A-League 2017/18 Season.

Bobo also finished with the Golden Boot for his 27 goals in as many games.

Polish international Adrian Mierzejewski capped a phenomenal first season for the club, voted as the Members’ Player of the Year.

WELLINGTON PHOENIX

Roy Krishna scooped the major gong at the end of a disappointing campaign for Wellington.

The Fijian flier pipped defenders Andrew Durante and Dylan Fox for the player of the year award.

Newcastle-bound Matthew Ridenton was recognised for a breakout campaign with the Young Player of the Year award.

WESTERN SYDNEY WANDERERS

Oriol Riera was the big winner at the Wanderers Medal ceremony.

After breaking the club’s record for most goals in a season, the Spanish striker collected three awards, while goalkeeper Vedran Janjetovic was also recognised for a strong season.
