With the Westfield W-League kicking off again in late October, we look back at the top Opta stats from last season.
GOALS
Ashleigh Sykes won the Golden Boot with 12 goals last season for Canberra United.
Westfield Matildas superstar Sam Kerr netted 10 times for Perth Glory while Natasha Dowie (Melbourne Victory) and Adriana Jones (Adelaide United) scored nine goals apiece.
Kerr took comfortably the most shots with 91, while her team-mate Vanessa Di Bernardo let fly 64 times.
Katrina-Lee Gorry had 51 goals attempts for Brisbane Roar.
CHANCE CREATION
Sam Kerr led the way here, creating 38 chances created for Glory.
Canberra United's Grace Maher was next with 33, while Kerr's team-mates Rosie Sutton and Nikki Stanton both created 30 chances.
Maher topped the list for assists with seven, while Adelaide United's Sofia Huerta and Western Sydney's Paige Nielsen set up five goals each.
GOALKEEPING
Western Sydney Wanderers custodian Jada Mathyssen-Whyman was the busiest goalkeeper, making 53 saves in total.
Westfield Matildas 'keeper Lydia Williams made 48 saves while Trudy Burke from Canberra United was next with 41.
Williams had the best save percentage in 2016/17, keeping out 77.05% of the shots fired her way.
Katelyn Rowland from Newcastle was next best with 73.91%, while Victory's Bianca Henninger had a save percentage of 70.83.
GAME TIME
Selection consistency was the key for 2016/17 champions Melbourne City.
Four players – Jessica Fishlock, Rebekah Stott, Laura Alleway and Lydia Williams – played every single minute of their campaign, 1290 minutes in total.
