This week's Westfield W-League coverage on ABC1 features Canberra United playing host to Brisbane Roar in a top-of-the-table match-up.
Tune in to ABC1 each Sunday at 3pm nationally for LIVE* Westfield W-League action, this week featuring Canberra United playing host to Brisbane Roar in a top-of-the-table match-up. The match-up is among the highlights of any Westfield W-League season with the pair having met in two grand finals.
Both sides are packed with Westfield Matildas- stars with Canberra United spearheaded by Michelle Heyman who is backed by a classic midfield, including former USA international Lori Lindsey.
The Roar, for their part, can boast the likes of Tameka Butt, Elise Kellond-Knight and the in-form Katrina Gorry, as just some of their Westfield Matildas personnel.
Interest too will be on opposite ends of the park and Aussie No1 goalkeeper Lydia Williams will line up for Canberra, while the Roar can boast European player of the year Nadine Angerer between the sticks.
