Westfield W-League Goal of Round 3 - Lisa De Vanna

Lisa De Vanna waltzed to Goal of Round 3 honours just like she effortlessly strode through the Melbourne City defence in Victory’s stunning 6-0 triumph over the Premiers and Champions.

Big V went goal crazy with four strikes in the last 28 minutes of the Melbourne Derby clash at CB Smith Reserve, with the Westfield Matildas all-time top scorer starting the late rally to make it 3-0.

With her back to goal midway inside her own defensive third, De Vanna swivelled past City captain Jenna McCormick and raced ominously towards the halfway line.

After leaving teenage centre-half Tori Tumeth in her wake, the 36-year-old delivered a clinical finish to beat goalkeeper Teagan Micah to score what must be a sure-fire Goal of the Season contender.
