Westfield Matildas climb in latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Rankings

The Westfield Matildas are on the rise in the latest edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Rankings.

Following back-to-back wins against Chile in November, Ante Milicic’s side have overtaken Canada to claim seventh place.

The Green and Gold celebrated a series win against the South Americans following a 2-1 triumph in Sydney, with Sam Kerr on target twice, and a 1-0 win in Adelaide, thanks to Emily Gielnik’s goal.

The next updated rankings will be released in March 2020, following the third round of the AFC Women’s Olympic Qualifying Tournament in China and Korea Republic.
