After a goalless first half, coach Dower looked to her bench to get the ball rolling.

It worked a treat as substitute Georgia Beaumont opened the scoring eight minutes after the break.

Five minutes later, the Westfield Junior Matildas doubled their lead, Hana Lowry scoring to all but guarantee the result.

The Australians had their third after substitute Tijan McKenna converted from the spot six minutes from time.

Following the match, Rae Dower was understandably delighted at her team's undefeated showing.

"Another three wins, another three clean sheets and the opportunity for all outfield players to get game time and increase their experience by playing international football - it’s a win-win all round," Dower said.

Despite the strong result, Dower saw plenty of room for improvement from her charges.

"We were pretty scrappy tonight [but] we were always going to lack some cohesion and combinations with making so many changes to the starting lineup.

"We were sloppy with our passing and our first touch was poor. So there’s an awful lot to improve on and a lot of hard work to be done between now and September when we travel to Thailand for the 2019 Asian Championships.

"This is a team that has improved immensely since the Round 1 qualifiers last September and I can’t wait to spend more time with them as we dream of World Cup glory in 2020."

The 2019 AFC U-16 Women’s Championship will serve as the qualification process for the 2020 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
