Western Sydney Wanderers return to Westfield W-League action following a bye hosting Brisbane Roar this Sunday (kick off 4.00pm AEDT).

The Wanderers have not been in league action since their 4-0 win over Canberra United on Boxing Day but Dean Heffernan's side have been keeping themselves busy and focused on their Premiership assault in the meantime.

Western Sydney took part in a four day training camp on the Gold Coast which culminated in a 1-0 victory over the Chinese national team on January 5.

It means the Red and Black should be firing on all cylinders when Brisbane Roar come calling on Sunday afternoon. Brisbane were felled 2-0 by Melbourne City, the Wanderers' Premiership rivals, last time out and if Jake Goodship's side still harbour faint hopes of challenging the top two they must leave Western Sydney with three points.
