MAJOR COUP: Gielnik signs for Melbourne Victory
Maher, 19, played a role in Canberra's Championship-winning 2014 team and started in the 3-1 Grand Final victory over Perth Glory.
Victory coach Jeff Hopkins said he was looking forward to guiding Maher through the next steps of her career.
"Grace has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to helping her develop as a player in Melbourne," Hopkins told Victory's official website.
"Despite her age, Grace brings great W-League experience to our midfield and she knows what it takes to win a Championship.
"She is a creative midfielder who has great vision for a pass and the ability to penetrate through opposition lines."
Maher is the second new addition to Victory's squad for the 2018/19 season, following the signing of Emily Gielnik last week.
