Thousands of Licensed Premises around Australia are registered as official FOX SPORTS AFC Asian Cup venues as momentum builds ahead of Australia-s first foray into Asia-s biggest football tournament.

The Socceroos return to tournament play for the first time since the 2006 World Cup at the 2007 AFC Asian Cup, which sees the best 16 Nations in Asia battling it out from July 7-29 across Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

FOX SPORTS has been inundated with interest from venues across the country, including 400 that have been classified as “family friendly”, all of whom will be showing the 32 AFC Asian Cup matches.

To help Socceroo fans locate their nearest “live site”, FOX SPORTS has set up a venue finder at www.foxsports.com.au.

Simply log onto www.foxsports.com.au, click through the following links: football/Asian Cup/venue finder, insert your postcode and a map will outline the nearest options.

Venues that have been declared “family friendly” will be marked to allow families the opportunity to enjoy the Socceroos as they take on the best Nations in Asia during prime time.

To be classified as “family friendly”, venues meet criteria that includes having screens in areas where children under the age of 18 can watch the matches, having children-s facilities and food available.

Official venues are made up of RSL and League clubs, hotels and taverns which have the FOX SPORTS service and are committed to showing all 32 matches, 28 of which will be televised LIVE on FOX SPORTS.

All 32 matches from the AFC Asian Cup will also be screened on FOX SPORTS in the two million homes around Australia that subscribe to the sports package through FOXTEL and AUSTAR.

The Venue Finder has been put together to allow fans the best possible opportunity with a variety of options to watch the Socceroos in action.

Australia takes on Oman, Thailand and Iraq in the group stages and FOX SPORTS- Asian Cup coverage will feature LIVE and EXCLUSIVE broadcasts of every Socceroos match.

FOX SPORTS will extend its coverage of Asia-s biggest football tournament to broadcast all 24 matches in the group stages, the four quarter finals, both semi finals, the 3rd/4th-place playoff and the final.

Of the 32 matches, 28 will be broadcast LIVE, with the other four on immediate replay due to conflicting kick off times on the last two days of the group stage. On those two nights, viewers can watch four straight Asian Cup matches in a football marathon.
