City are among all-time best... but Stott believes they can get even better
Melbourne City are bulldozing their way to a Westfield W-League Premiership but according to Rebekah Stott, the best is still to come.
Rado Vidosic's side hold a six-point lead over Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC ahead of Round 12 and, should the two Sydney rivals draw on Saturday night, City will be crowned Premiers with a Melbourne derby win on Sunday, against Melbourne Victory.
Although you cannot rule out a late twist in the tale, it appears as though it is a matter of when, not if, City claim their second Premiers Plate.
The club are on a remarkable eight match winning streak, keeping six clean sheets in that span, and they have not conceded a goal since their 2-1 win over reigning Champions Sydney FC on December 8, 2018.
It is a dominance to rival that of the club's inaugural 2015/16 Premiership triumph, where a star-studded squad containing the likes of Scottish legend Kim Little and Welsh maestro Jessica Fishlock reigned supreme.

Fans will debate whether the City slickers of 2019/20, should they get the job done, can hold a candle to that side.
But New Zealand international Stott, who has played for Norway and United States heavyweights Avaldsnes IL and Reign FC in the past, is firm in her belief that this City squad ranks among the best she has ever played.
"This is one of the best squads I think I have been in, not just here but around the world as well," Stott said.
"We are so consistent at the moment, and I don't think we have fully reached our potential yet - which is a good thing, because we're still winning games.
Stott has been the lynchpin of City's incredible defensive resolution, the foundation of the club's charge to the Premiership.

It is further up the pitch where the 26-year-old defender wants her teammates to add a more clinical edge to City's ruthless machine.
"We need to score more goals, have more convincing wins, we can be a lot more lethal than we are at the moment."
Stott's side will get the chance to do so against rivals on Victory this Sunday.
"It's the biggest game of the year for us. Victory have got a few over us so we definitely want to win this game.
"If we win, we could potentially be the Premiers. That's in our minds, but our focus is winning that derby.
"We want to get that back and show the league that we are the top."
