Star signing Honda touches down in Melbourne

Keisuke Honda has touched down on Australian soil ahead of his unveiling as Melbourne Victory's marquee signing on Wednesday.

The 98-cap Japan international has made headlines around the world since announcing his move to the Hyundai A-League champions on Monday 6 August, and will speak to media in a press conference on Wednesday 15 August at 10am.

With seven days to go until Victory’s next competitive match, against APIA Leichhardt Tigers in the FFA Cup Round of 16, it is yet to be revealed whether the 32-year-old former AC Milan playmaker will make his first appearance at Leichhardt Oval on Tuesday 21 August.

Expect Honda to discuss how soon he will be ready to play, among all things Hyundai A-League, at his first media appearance in Australia on Wednesday.
