Star duo depart Western Sydney Wanderers

Oriol Riera and Roly Bonevacia have both confirmed they will be departing Western Sydney Wanderers with immediate effect.

Spanish forward Riera, 32, announced his exit on Instagram yesterday after missing out on Saturday evening’s 1-0 defeat to Melbourne Victory.

“I wish to the club, players, fans and everyone involved at Western Sydney Wanderers all the best in the future,” Riera said.

The former La Liga marksman scored 25 goals in 49 Hyundai A-League matches for the Red and Black after arriving in Australia from Deportivo La Coruña in July 2017.
