Socceroos’ latest FIFA ranking

Ahead of tonight’s FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia™ Qualifier with Bangladesh in Perth, the Socceroos have remained at 61 in the latest FIFA world rankings released today.

Their opponents in tonight's qualifier Bangladesh were ranked 170 last month but the Bengal Tigers have slipped three places to 173.

The Socceroos next play Tajikistan in FIFA 2018 World Cup Russia™ Qualifiers on Tuesday night in Dushanbe who retained their ranking of 158.

Around the world there was little movement among the top ten nations, with Chile climbing two places to eighth

Conversely, England dropped two places to tenth and are now one behind United Kingdom foes Wales, who've enjoyed a meteoritic rise over the last eighteen months.

Australia remain the fourth ranked country in Asia behind Iran(40), Korea Republic(57) and Japan(58).
