Melbourne City have signed former Premier League winger Craig Noone from English League One club Bolton Wanderers.
Noone, 31, joins the Victorians after Bolton entered administration and were relegated from the English Championship last season.
The move signals the first time the experienced English attacker has ventured from UK shores to play football, having turned out for Plymouth Argyle, Exeter City and Brighton & Hove Albion before helping Cardiff City earn promotion to the Premier League in 2013.

He made 14 appearances in the top flight and scored one goal, against Manchester City in January 2014, before the Bluebirds were relegated back to the Championship.
Noone, born in Liverpool, has spent the past two seasons with Bolton Wanderers, where he rubbed shoulders with current Hyundai A-League players Adam Le Fondre (Sydney FC) and Jem Karacan (Central Coast Mariners).

"I'm excited to join Melbourne City and test myself in the A-League. I want to win and be competing for silverware,” Noone said. "This is an ambitious club that wants to win trophies while playing an exciting style of football."
"I know a few players in Australia and know the quality is good. I'm expecting it to be physical and fast-paced and can't wait to step out in front of the fans for the first time at AAMI Park.”
City, who last month signed fullback Scott Galloway from Adelaide United, are still without a coach following the decision to part ways with former boss Warren Joyce in March.
They finished fifth in the Hyundai A-League in 2018/19, before being knocked out by the Reds in the Elimination Final.
