Football fans in Rooty Hill have had their chance to get involved in the discussion on the new Hyundai A-League club for Sydney.
The latest fan forum took place at Rooty Hill RSL, where Head of A-League Lyall Gorman, Fox Sports commentator Mark Rudan and Federal Member for Chifley Ed Husic met with more than 100 local supporters to talk about important aspects of the new club, including the name, colours and staff for the new club.
On the night, there seemed a preference for red, black and white colours, Parramatta Stadium as the home ground, to host games on Saturday nights.
Questions for the forum included: should the club name have West or Western in it? Not one person in the audience voted for a name without West/Western Sydney. Also, 80 per cent of the audience voted for a more traditional football name for the club.
