Roar's Young wins fans' save of the season

The goalkeepers came up with a string of spectacular saves during the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season but the fans have voted for Jamie Young’s effort against Perth Glory in Round 3 as the best.

The Roar custodian pulled off a spectacular double stop to keep out two point-blank headers in the space of a couple of seconds from Glory’s Andy Keogh.

And in a pretty hot field, it was a clear fan favourite.

Sydney FC’s Andrew Redmayne was third with 9% for his last-gasp stop against Adelaide United in Round 13, followed by Melbourne Victory’s Lawrence Thomas (6%) against the Wanderers in Round 11.
