Bott’s strike against Argentina at Suncorp Stadium on Matchday Two finished with 51 per cent of the vote and was a perfect combination of power and technique.
The 23-year old gathered the ball about 35 yards out and unleashed a bullet of a shot that rose and dipped sharply, leaving the Argentine goalkeeper no chance as it snuck under the crossbar.
Westfield Matildas winger Gielnik finished runner-up with 35 per cent of the vote for her belter against Korea Republic on the same day.
