Manchester United star Paul Pogba has granted a 15-year-old Perth boy who was hit by a bus the surprise of his life.
Rising footballing star Leo Brieden, 15, had his right foot crushed by a bus in November last year while crossing a road in Shenton Park after school.
Leo had the foot amputated and can no longer play the game he loves as a result of the tragedy.
However, the teenager is set to fulfil one of his dreams after receiving a personal invitation Pogba to attend the Premier League club’s tour of Perth this July – and a meeting with the Red Devils midfielder himself.
“I feel amazed. It’s crazy,” Brieden told Channel 7 News Perth.
“I’ve wanted this for a really long time. I did so many things to try, it’s just amazing.
“I’ll probably freeze when I see him!”

It has been a difficult road to recovery for Leo following the heartbreaking decision to amputate his right foot three months ago.
He had been told by doctors that an amputation would hand him a stronger chance at running and kicking a ball again than a foot reconstruction.
But Leo is determined not to let his situation get in the way of his professional footballing dreams.
Last weekend he passed a special milestone when he walked without crutches for the first time, and he also aims to become the first ever footballer with an artificial leg.
He hopes to kick a ball with Pogba and the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, David de Gea and his other Manchester United teammates when the Premier League giants touch down Western Australia for their pre-season tour.
Manchester United are set to take on Hyundai A-League outfit Perth Glory on Saturday, July 13 before renewing their rivalry with Leeds United on Wednesday, July 17.
