Perth Glory hang on for three precious points against Melbourne Victory

Perth Glory hung on for three precious points against Melbourne Victory on Sunday to keep their finals hopes alive with a 1-0 win. 

The win pushed Glory to within a point of the six ahead of their home clash with Sydney FC on Thursday night. 

After a brilliant Liam Reddy save to keep out Victory, Andy Keogh gave the home side the lead on the cusp of half-time with a beautiful header.

But in the second half, Glory sat deeper and deeper and allowed Victory to come at them. 

Keeper Lawrence Thomas coming up from his box in stoppage time for Victory, but his header from a corner was cleared by a desperate Glory defence, led admirably all night by Dino Djulbic.
