Perth Glory complete squad as Doeglas and Onions sign on

Perth Glory have completed their squad for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 Season with the signings of Caitlin Doeglas and Jenna Onions.

Doeglas has racked up 18 appearances for Glory during her three seasons at the club, scoring two goals, including the second fastest in Westfield W-League history back in 2016, while 17-year-old left-back Onions will be competing in her first campaign.

Head Coach Bobby Despotovski told the club's official website: "Jenna is an exciting young prospect who works really hard and is keen to learn and improve. She'll be looking to adapt to the new level and make her senior debut this year.

"Caitlin is a versatile player who can operate both in midfield and up front and she has plenty of Westfield W-League experience.

"Those are great assets to have given the limited squad size and the fact that we have a lot of younger players in the group this year."

Onions, who impressed for Queens Park and in the NTC Challenge, said: "I'm really excited about the season ahead. Pre-season has gone well and I'm enjoyed training with what is a really talented group. I'm confident it's going to be a great year."

Doeglas added: "It's great to be back on board again. It looks as if we've got a strong squad which will definitely give us a good chance of having a successful season."

Glory kick-off their campaign with the trip to the Suncorp Stadium to take on Brisbane Roar on Sunday, October 20.
