Head coach Bobby Despotovski says skill level is costing his side points as his Perth Glory suffered another defeat against Western Sydney Wanderers on Sunday afternoon.
Glory fought hard throughout the 90 minutes and equalised in the second half but shipped two more goals to fall to a 3-1 loss at Bankwest Stadium.
It was Glory’s sixth loss of the campaign, ensuring the WA outfit head into Round 11 without a win to their name.
After succumbing to the Wanderers Despotovski said the skill levels of his individual players are not quite up to the standard needed to compete in the Westfield W-League.
"The individual skill shown by our players is what let us down today; nothing else,” Despotovski told perthglory.com.au.
"Those skills are not up to scratch at the moment and where we are in the league shows that.
"We gave it a good go, but it was not enough."

Perth travelled to face the Wanderers with the monumental task of taking it to one of the league’s best sides awaiting them, but they didn’t help themselves conceding a goal to Caitlin Cooper within three minutes of the kick off.
From there the uphill battle became a near impossible task, and despite performing valiantly in the second stanza they were unable to keep the hosts at bay.
Despotovski says conceding the opening goal was down to his side succumbing to pressure and the higher intensity that the Wanderers brought to the contest.
"We gave an early goal aware due to pure pressure,” Despotovski said.
“Then we started playing some decent football, but couldn't maintain enough possession in the first half because they had a higher intensity than us.
"In the second half we changed two positions, we needed an early goal and we got one.
"But again they were able to score due to us not being able to control possession.”
Perth face another tough test on the road when they travel to McDonald Jones Stadium to face Newcastle in a Round 11 clash on Thursday night.
The Jets sit just two points ahead of Perth on the table, meaning Despotovski’s side can leapfrog their opponents into seventh place on the table if they can manage their first win of the campaign.
