Orlando Pride secure rights to Westfield Matildas star Logarzo

National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) outfit Orlando Pride have claimed the rights to Westfield Matildas attacker Chloe Logarzo.

Logarzo, who played for Washington Spirit in the NWSL in 2019, was secured by the Pride through the competition’s Re-Entry Wire.

The 24-year-old made 15 appearances for the Spirit – where she played alongside compatriot Amy Harrison - scoring one goal.

It was Logarzo’s first season playing in America’s top-flight competition.

Logarzo is currently in Australia preparing for the Westfield Matildas’ two-match series against Chile, which starts on Saturday at Bankwest Stadium.
