Peru’s preparation for the crucial Group C clash against the Socceroos has suffered a blow with a star attacker sent to hospital after he was knocked unconscious in training.
There’s been some high praise for a couple of French strikers while Denmark let their hair down with some fun on the training pitch.

There’s been some drama in the Peru camp ahead of their meeting with the Socceroos on Wednesday morning (AEST) – live on SBS and Optus Sport.
Striker Jefferson Farfan had to be taken to hospital after he was knocked unconscious after clashing heads with a teammate at their training base at the Arena Khimki on the outskirts of Moscow.
While the veteran attacker is now in a stable condition, he has remained in hospital for further tests, with Peru boss Ricardo Gareca and fitness coach Nestor Bonillo said to be by his side.
The South American’s can’t progress to the knockout phase after losing their first two matches against Denmark and France both 1-0.
DENMARK
The Danes still might need a draw in their final match against France to book themselves a spot in the last 16 but they don’t seem to be feeling any pressure.
During their most recent training session ahead of the clash with the French, they appeared to try their hand at their own version of tenpin bowling.
But in this game, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel kicks the ball out of his hands at a group of his teammates standing in a line about 30 yards away.

FRANCE
French FIFA World Cup™ winner David Trezeguet has heaped praise on young guns Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe, declaring the pair have the potential to be even better than France legend Thierry Henry.
Henry and Trezeguet were part of the France squad that led the country to FIFA World Cup™ success on home soil in 1998.

And with France looking to match that achievement 20 years on, Trezeguet has tipped Griezmann and Mbappe to develop into even more dangerous attackers than Arsenal icon Henry - Les Bleus' record scorer.
"I think Griezmann has all the quality to overcome Thierry Henry, as Mbappe has too," Trezeguet said.
"Because they are young, they are determinant and they are still growing as players."
Mbappe eclipsed Trezeguet as France's youngest goalscorer at a major tournament when the 19-year-old struck the winner in a 1-0 defeat of Peru.
