Official: Arzani’s international milestone as FIFA World Cup squads confirmed

Caltex Socceroos youngster Daniel Arzani has achieved an international milestone after being confirmed in Bert van Marwijk’s 2018 FIFA World Cup™ squad.

Having made the cut to travel to Russia, the NAB Young Footballer of the Year is not only the youngest Australian to ever earn selection at a FIFA World Cup™, he is also the youngest player to be selection from the 32 nations participating.

With Poland’s Sebastian Szymański not making their final 23-man squad, Melbourne City attacker Arzani is the only 1999-born player included in the tournament.
