November's Hyundai A-League Goal of the Month: Adlung's bullet

With some cracking strikes scored in November, we asked fans to vote for the best goal netted across the Hyundai A-League last month.

And in almost unanimous fashion, Adelaide United’s Daniel Adlung clinched the title with a whopping 53.4% of the public vote.

With his team trailing away to Central Coast, Adlung pulled one out of the top drawer to kick-start a stunning turnaround in a 2-1 win back in round 7.

The Mariners were made to pay for failing to fully clear an Isaias cross as Adlung unleashed a ferocious first-time effort that whistled in from well outside the area.

Jets fullback Daniel Georgievski’s left-footed strike against Victory in Round 8 took out 31% of the votes.

Adlung is the second recipient of the A-League Goal of the Month Award, with Phoenix striker Roy Krishna earning the inaugural nomination in October.

*Every week we'll present contenders for the goal of the round where the winners will be presented in a final vote for the Goal of the Month.

At each stage of the selection process, fans will be able to vote for their favourite goal. The award will be presented to the player and announced in the following days.
