New Hyundai A-League club unveil their inaugural CEO

New Hyundai A-League club Macarthur South West United have announced Archie Fraser as he club’s inaugural Chief Executive Officer.

The club confirmed the appointment on Tuesday at a press conference at Rydges Campbelltown.


Fraser is the former head of the Hyundai A-League and has also worked as CEO of AFL club St Kilda.

"This region is clearly booming and our intention is to build something that everybody is proud off," Fraser said.

"We'll do it together, do it with a lot of inclusion, and really ultimately make the A-League a better place to be.

"We've got a stadium already in place [at Leumeah]...and we don't have a lot of competition, I mean, we have Wests Tigers playing three games a year at that stadium."

Macarthur South West United were officially confirmed for a new Hyundai A-League licence last December.

They will join the competition for the start of the 2020/21 Season.

The club are set to unveil their official name, colours and logo at a gala luncheon at Campbelltown Catholic Club on May 15.
