Perth Glory v Brisbane Roar 6PR Stadium, Sunday 11am

With the Central Coast Mariners three points clear atop the National Youth League table, Perth Glory's clash against the Brisbane Roar shapes as a must-win.

The Mariners, who have played a game more, are not in action this weekend, giving Glory the opportunity to draw level on points.

Tommy Amphlett's late goal gave them a tight 1-0 win over the Newcastle Jets on Sunday, and they have been a settled side with the senior team in fine form.

Glory will need top-scorer Ndumba Makeche (seven goals) to be on song against a dangerous Roar side.

Although they are out of the title race, Roar enter this encounter on the back of consecutive wins.

Glory, who face lowly Melbourne Victory in the last round, must collect three points to ensure the pressure is on the Mariners heading into their last games.

Newcastle Jets v Adelaide United Adamstown Oval, Saturday 4pm

Adelaide United and the Newcastle Jets, two of the more inconsistent sides in the league, do battle on Saturday.

Both will have to settle for a mid-table finish this campaign having shown glimpses of excellent form throughout.

The Jets have struggled at home with just two wins from six, and they have only netted eight times in those games.

United went close to an upset victory over Sydney FC last week and will be out to bounce back at Adamstown Oval.

Gold Coast United v Melbourne Victory Owen Park, Sunday 3pm

Gold Coast United's chances of a top-three finish remain on track despite last week's heavy loss to the Mariners.

With a strong home record, Gold Coast welcome an in-form Victory side that is winless on the road this season.

Victory are bottom despite two wins in their last four, but remain a chance to move up the table as they chase an out-of-sorts AIS side.

But having struggled on their road trips, they will find it tough to get anything out of this outing at Owen Park.

Sydney FC v AIS WIN Jubilee, Sunday 3.30pm

Although they are out of the running for top spot, Sydney FC will still have an impact on who wins the championship.

They have lost Mitchell Mallia and Joel Chianese to the senior team and both netted in Sydney's 2-1 Hyundai A-League win over Adelaide United.

Sydney face an AIS outfit winless in seven and in danger of finishing bottom of the pile.

After Sunday's clash, Sydney face off with table-toppers Central Coast and will have a major say in who claims top spot.
