Mooy, who has enjoyed a dream start to life in England’s top-flight, caught the eye again with another all-action display in Town’s midfield.

The in-form Aussie made more tackles than any other player on the pitch at John Smith’s Stadium, while he also played the most key passes.

Unfortunately for the home side Mooy’s performance couldn’t secure all three points.

The Terriers took a second half lead through Laurent Depoitre on his full debut in the EPL, only for Jamie Vardy to equalise from the penalty spot soon after.

Huddersfield did find the back of the net again just after Vardy's equaliser, when Elias Kachunga got the final touch on Mathias Jorgensen's effort, but it was ruled offside.

Replays suggested the goal should have been allowed.

“Performance wise we played well. High intensity and very energetic,” Huddersfield manager David Wagner said.

“The performance was very good from my point of view. The whole team has shown a great attitude and great spirit.

“They showed the reaction we expected and we bounced back. I am disappointed because I think we deserved the second goal.”

Huddersfield remain sixth on the EPL ladder with eight points from five matches.

Their next EPL clash is away at Burnley next weekend.
