Arsenal beat West Ham 2-0 with four Westfield Matildas taking to the park. Mackenzie Arnold returned to the starting line up with Emily van Egmond ahead of her for the Hammers. Lydia Williams and Caitlin Foord took to the pitch for Arsenal, Steph Catley was an unused sub.

Foord tested Arnold on multiple occasions forcing her Australian team mate into plenty of saves but it was Vivianne Miedema who opened the scoring with a stunning strike. Kim Little doubled the advantage from an acute angle to give the Gunners all three points.

In the upcoming fixtures, West Ham head to Aston Villa in another relegation battle while Arsenal travel to Merseyside to face Hayley Raso’s Everton.

Ella Mastrantonio’s Bristol will host Manchester United as they continue their push to avoid relegation. Alanna Kennedy and Tottenham will have to wait until mid-next week to take on Sam Kerr and Chelsea following their UEFA Women’s Champions League semi final.

Sweden

It’s an Aussie derby in Damallsvenskan with Dylan Holmes and BK Häcken coming up against Emily Gilenik and Clare Polkinghorne’s Vittsjö. BK Häcken will look to add to their unbeaten start to the season while Vittsjö are looking to bounce back from defeat last week.
