New Zealand international Jeremy Brockie is on the move again after linking with NPL Northern NSW powerhouse Edgeworth FC.
In late December, Brockie was revealed as a prime capture for NPL Victoria club Bentleigh Greens, however family reasons have now seen Brockie link up with the Eagles under new coach, and former Newcastle Jets star, Michael Bridges.
The 33-year-old attacker, who boasts 51 caps for the All Whites, cited the greater opportunities to travel between Newcastle and his family in north Queensland as a key reason for his latest switch.
Brockie boasts a long history of achievement at club level with stints in Major League Soccer and the South African Premier Division following his eight seasons in the A-League.
In addition to Brockie and coach Bridges, the Eagles also boast further A-League experience with veteran defender Josh Rose, a Premiership and Championship winner in the top flight, set to also return to the club.
Edgeworth are one of the most successful clubs in the National Premier Leagues - winning five Grand Finals and four Premiership titles in NPL Northern NSW, and appearing four times in the NPL Finals Series.
The Eagles will commence their league campaign on Saturday, 27 March when they tackle Maitland FC in a rematch of last year's Grand Final.
